Santa Barbara Lampshades began in 1989, when founder Nancy Sanchez opened a small shop with a passion for craftsmanship, design, and serving the Santa Barbara community. Over the years, her dedication and personal touch transformed the shop into a beloved local fixture—one known for its warm service and commitment to quality.

When Nancy retired in 2025, the Flores family stepped in to carry her legacy forward. As long‑time admirers of her work—and as the owners of Flores Hardware & Lighting, a family‑run business with deep roots in the region—they were honored to keep Santa Barbara Lampshades locally owned and thriving. Their goal has been simple: preserve the values Nancy built the business on while continuing to serve the community with the same care and craftsmanship.

Have something unique in mind? We also specialize in custom shade services with a turn aroud time of 6-8 weeks. Choose from our curated materials, we can bring your vision to life.

In addition to our collection, we provide professional repair services for a variety of lighting fixtures.
